Meet the PharmiWeb Team: Nola Cadman

Can you provide a brief outline of your role?

In my role as Senior Design & Content Editor, I bring a diverse skill set to the PharmiWeb Team, encompassing creativity, coding, communication, and administration. This includes the crucial task of preserving and nurturing the current brand identity of PharmiWeb's business. Additionally, I engage in daily interactions with our clients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with regards to the build and distribution of dedicated newsletters.

I am responsible for the end-to-end process for our clients' branded career hubs, including design, construction, and ongoing maintenance. Additionally, I take care of creating and distributing dedicated newsletters for our clients, encompassing general updates as well as sector-specific job ads. Moreover, my responsibilities extend to content administration for both PW.com and PW.Jobs, ensuring a seamless and effective online presence for our clients.

How long have you been at PharmiWeb?

I started working at PharmiWeb in December 2007, I am part of the original team set up shortly after the business started.

What do you do in your spare time?

I find painting very relaxing, be it acrylics on canvas or a pot of Dulux on the walls in my house. I am considered to be the ‘queen of cutting in’ due to my steady hand around light switches and skirting boards. I keep myself active swimming at the local sport centre each week, and rambling around many of the local parks and woodland in the Bracknell area. I am also a self-confessed Sci Fi geek. I indulge in my passion for Star Trek, Star Wars, and more, eagerly immersing myself in the vast universe of science fiction.

Can you share some of your standout moments at PharmiWeb?

Transitioning from a purely administrative role, I've broadened my responsibilities to take on the dual role of both creative lead and custodian of the PharmiWeb brand design.

What do you think makes us unique, both as a business and a team?

At PharmiWeb, there's a culture that promotes skill diversification, where your contributions are not only heard but also acknowledged. Over the years, I've consistently experienced a team that exudes happiness, thoughtfulness, and down-to-earth camaraderie. Being part of a compact team facilitates near-instant communication, proving invaluable for swift turnarounds and going the extra mile for our clients.

How do you think PharmiWeb has changed since you joined?

Upon joining in 2007, the team dedicated to maintaining the original PW.com site comprised of seven members. Remarkably, three of the original seven, including myself, remain part of the team. There have been many changes over the years both with teammates old and new and of course the evolution of technology, but we have managed to change and adapt with the times, and consistently delivered a high standard of client service and support, so here’s to the next 25 years of continued success!

What do you see in the future for PharmiWeb?

Who’s to say what the future holds for PharmiWeb, if the last 25 years has proved anything it is that anything is possible.
