Meet the PharmiWeb Team: Simon Brough
Can you provide a brief outline of your role?
As the Head Of Business Development, my day revolves around bringing new clients onto PharmiWeb, fostering new relationships, networking and presenting. I explore new tools we can use to make the teams life easier from a sourcing perspective and lead initiatives to change the way we develop business and hit our growing targets
How long have you been at PharmiWeb?
I’ve been here just over 4 years now. I met Vince randomly in a lift one day, we hit it off and he asked me to come along and interview. The rest is history!
What do you do in your spare time?
I… don’t know what that is? The job keeps me busy, but outside of that I’m a big film, music and gaming fan. If I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking up a storm for friends and family.
Can you share some of your standout moments at PharmiWeb?
For me, being promoted to head up BD was a highlight. The fact I’m trusted to build, maintain and win our pipeline on a global level gives me great satisfaction and coming to work facing challenges is when I’m happiest.
What do you think makes us unique, both as a business and a team?
As a team, everyone here is a powerhouse at what they do. We work hard and always back eachother up when it’s needed. The adaptability of us makes me proud and we always go the extra mile to help.
As a business, the level of customisation we offer our clients is a stand out for me. We cater to businesses big and small and focus on what’s important to them. No two client experiences are the same and that’s the exact kind of service I’d like to receive.
How do you think PharmiWeb has changed since you joined?
I joined at a really pivotal time for PharmiWeb, we went from being a small business to a global entity quite quickly so the biggest change I saw was everyone owning their sections with integrity and adapting to the change. COVID pushed us from out tight knit office, to a remote world- yet that transition was smooth for us, which was really impressive.
What do you see in the future for PharmiWeb?
Growth and change are my two big aims. I want to be able to offer a more comprehensive service per location and use our collective knowledge to empower our clients and boost their ROI to new levels. I think we will constantly change to adapt to the industry and technological advancements, the people we have working here make that look easy!
